PALS Pass the Boot
THS PALS would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Tidehaven and Industrial fans for their support in “Pass the Boot.” PALS members collected monetary donations for Texas wildfire victims from both tiger and cobra fans at the varsity football game on Friday, September 9. THS PALS would also like to thank the Midfield Volunteer Fire Department and Mr. Vic Collins for letting them borrow boots to collect donations.

P.A.L.S stands for Peers, Accepting, Learning & Sharing. The program trains selected students to work with other students either on their own campus or on others. The goal of the program is to improve school climate and provide assistance to both students and faculty so that they all enjoy a positive and productive school experience.
P.A.L.S.Objectives and Goals are:
To help younger students to have a more positive and productive school experience To help younger students make more informed and responsible decisions To provide to younger students assistance either through individual or group support To promote student involvement and service in the school and community
To be members, students go through a selection process: teachers refer them, then the students complete an application and interview.
