A little about me... I am a wife, and mother of two sweet daughters. I'm also a Tidehaven graduate, and have taught third grade at Markham Elementary for six years. This will be my first year to teach second grade. I am so excited as I have been waiting for this opportunity for quite some time. I will have the advantage of knowing what your child needs to be prepared for third grade--the first grade level that takes the STAAR tests. I have always wanted to be a teacher and I LOVE teaching! I do have high expectations of my students, but I also work with them to help them reach their potential. If at any time during the school year, you have concerns or questions, please feel comfortable communicating with me. I want your child to succeed! I'm looking forward to a great year. |
