Tidehaven ISD is calling for a bond election on May
9, 2009, to give voters an opportunity to decide whether or not to allow
Tidehaven ISD to sell bonds. If the bond election is approved, the
district will sell the bonds and will use the proceeds to pay for cost
of construction, renovations, capital equipment, and improvement of
other special projects.
The district is asking for $33.5 million dollars to be paid back over a
30 year period to:
- Build a new high school
- Build one PK-5 (combined) Elementary
- Renovate the current high school into a new junior high
